The season of Christmas continues to be the time of year which evokes positive emotions, a sense of hope, and opportunities for generosity and community, creating a unique atmosphere of warmth and happiness for all.

For the last nine years, Crime Stoppers of Michigan, with the financial help from many, has been able to provide an exciting Christmas Party for children of victims and their families who have sought our help.

For the children we invite to this party, all having been through some of life’s most difficult challenges, this afternoon is meant to bring love, hope and joy to each of them.

Over 1,500 children and their parents have been invited to attend this annual event, enjoying lunch, music, a visit with Santa, educational information and of course gifts. This Christmas Party has been held at the Parade Company location location for the last four years. This venue brings even more excitement for our guests as they wander through all the spectacular Thanksgiving Day floats.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan’s primary focus is delivering two programs to the citizens of Michigan, our 1800SPEAKUP program as well as the Center for Crime Prevention. Through these programs, we offer support to our citizens, help for victims and their families, and a strong partnership with the law enforcement community.

However, for this one day, everything is put aside so we can provide the most successful children’s Christmas Party of the year.
