Hello everyone! I am starting this go fund me on behalf of my best friend Olivia Pelczar.

Olivia Pelczar (Castonguay) — daughter, sister, wife, mother, registered nurse, and friend—went in for a routine MRI, never expecting the life-altering news that would follow. What started as an effort to understand her chronic migraines quickly escalated into something much bigger. In January 2025, just two months after welcoming her little boy, Olivia was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

She is scheduled to undergo a complex craniotomy in June in Boston with the hope to remove as much of the tumor as possible, and biopsy the tumor to determine the next steps and a treatment plan.

We’re hoping to help support Olivia and her family as they prepare to take on this life changing situation, so that they can focus on her surgery and recovery, as well as any possible future treatments.

Thanks to the support of insurance, most of Olivia’s medical bills have been covered. However, there are still significant out-of-pocket costs that remain.
