Support the heartbreaking loss of Oasis The Boston
Donation protected
UPDATE 11/24: Oasis passed away on thanksgiving morning 11/23 due to many post-op surgery complications. Before, Oasis’ mum could move forward with the new $20,000 treatment plan of a plasma transfusion, Oasis selflessly made the decision that it was time to say goodbye. Oasis’ mum held him tightly close to her heart as his soul embarked.
Oasis‘ life although short like his stature has been a beacon of light for so many people around the world. His life may have ended, but his message and story will continue to live on forever. Thank you for loving our Oasis like he was a part of your family. I know you all feel this tremendous loss too.
UPDATE 11/22/23 5PM: Oasis had a successful Brachycephalic Airway Disease surgery (including: Soft Palate Resect/Saccules/Tonsils/Nares) Full mast cell removal saving the main vein in his leg, neutering, and microchipping on Tuesday, Nov 21. On Wednesday, Nov 22 Oasis developed an elevated heart rate, and later in the day aspirated and developed pneumonia. He is being treated with antibiotics and being monitored in an oxygen cage until at least Friday at this time.
Grateful to hear our Oasis has developed quite the fan club in the hospital... that he has on the outside so we have many loving souls praying for his full recovery.
Oasis’ new treatment plan is for 48 additional hours in the hospital with oxygen, fluids, and medications with the 24 hour medical team caring for him. Oasis' new treatment plan is an additional: $6,000 bringing his total treatment cost to $16,000 currently. It truly is hard to process all of this. Oasis' mum has currently already paid over $10,000 for this treatment. Please consider donating or sharing our story.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support this week! We cannot wait to get our baby boy home in his own bed!
Hugs to all,
The Oasis Family

Unfortunately, Oasis needs to have surgery. Oasis has a mast cell tumor on his leg that appeared out of no where but is growing fairly quickly now. Because of Oasis' Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome and my concerns with his breathing our regular vet will not do the surgery. Consultations alone with specialist in the area have been $300 just to talk.
Unfortunately, the specialists do not feel that Oasis would recover from the mast cell removal surgery and the anesthesia easily without addressing the Bracheycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome first because Oasis is a Risk 3.
Oasis' surgery priority is as followed:
1. Brachycephalic Airway Disease (possibly including: Soft Palate Resect/Saccules/Tonsils/Nares)
2. Mast cell removal
3. Neutering
Oasis' surgery is set for Tuesday November 21, 2023. With the tumor almost doubling in size within the last two weeks I didn't feel comfortable waiting any longer.
Oasis will spend the night in an oxygen cage following surgery and will be in the care of the vet for 24 hours or until they feel he is stable enough to come home. While I am completely heartbroken to think I cannot be there with him, the hospital is open 24 hours a day so I feel confident he will be in the constant care he needs.
If you feel inclined to donate, I'd be happy to share the itemized hospital bill with you so you know exactly where your donation went. I'd also love if you'd send me your address so we can send you a big thank you and PAWsonalized #OASISMAIL.
We really truly hate to have to ask for help, but so many of our kind friends have been reaching out to us asking us how they could help, and to our amazement there have been quite a few people who have asked us if they could donate to Oasis' surgery costs. It's something we are having a hard time bringing ourselves to do, but with treatment costs nearing $10k for a 24 hour visit (due immediately following surgery) we're grateful to have such a wonderful community that would love to help us!
If you do donate, every dollar will go directly to Oasis' surgery and recovery.
Please know we do not take your generosity lightly. We do not post Oasis' adventures to make money, but instead to make people smile. And in doing so, we promise to start posting regularly again. Because even in darkness, we can still spread light! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. We can only hope to continue to make pure, wholesome, happy content for your viewing pleasures for many years to come!
Thank you again for all your continued love and support - you all mean the world to us!
We promise to keep you updated every step of the way!
Love and light,
Oasis + Family
