Tonight at Washington Square is NYU’s first-ever student-produced Late Night Sketch Comedy Show. This groundbreaking production brings together over 40 students across all NYU schools to write, perform, direct, film, and produce a professionally taped live show premiering May 2nd at the Cantor Film Center.
We’re building something special—not just a one-night event, but a lasting platform that showcases NYU’s comedic talent and creative potential. Think SNL meets The Tonight Show, made entirely by a diverse group of students who are serious about being silly.
But here’s the thing: comedy costs money.
Costumes, props, cameras, mics, tech crew, food for long rehearsals, and theater rentals all add up. Every dollar helps us pay for the tools we need to make a show that doesn’t just feel “good for a student production”—but feels like it could air tomorrow.
We’re asking for your support to help us:
