Help support Nuzum's medical costs

Nuzum is the kindest, most selfless person you will ever meet. She immigrated to the United States in November of 2019 from Bangladesh, where she was a Pharmacist. In March 2020, Nuzum began working as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens. She quickly adapted to her new role and her new home in America. Over the past two years, Nuzum has exhibited nothing but respect and kindness for every person she encounters.

After work on February 10, 2022 Nuzum was crossing the street when she was struck and run over by a car.

Nuzum was immediately rushed to the trauma center at Region's hospital, where she remained for several weeks. Her injuries were extensive - she suffered 14 broken bones and fractures, including both shoulders, arms, elbows, lumbar spine, pelvis, sacrum, tibia and fibula - among other injuries. Within the first five days in the hospital, she received four major surgeries and blood transfusions.

She is currently in a rehab facility where she receives OT and PT 4 times a day. She is still 0% mobility and nonweight bearing. Nuzum is working so hard as her body heals. She will have to learn how to walk again and can't wait to get back to doing all the things she loves.
