Dear NRDC,

Our NY HR colleague, Shanqunette Young,  was living in a basement apartment in Brooklyn when an electrical problem sparked a fire in her building just this past week.  She managed to escape, but lost most all of her belongings and is now living in a shelter until she can find an apartment.  

Please consider contributing to help Shan with the costs needed to find a new apartment in NY and recuperate many of of her lost items.
