Hi,

I'm starting this GoFundMe to help raise money to support my upcoming study abroad experience in Rome, Italy. I'm a Communications major and studying abroad has been a dream of mine for a really long time, not just as an academic opportunity but as a chance to grow personally. Gaining a broader, more global understanding of other people and cultures besides my own, will help expand my view of the world. Experiencing how people, cultures and places connect, intercept, and interact with each other, is fundamental to this learning experience.

This opportunity will help me to gain that perspective and carry it with me to all of my future endeavors, personally, academically and professionally. Unfortunately, the cost of studying abroad is quite significant and I really need some additional support to make this opportunity possible.

Any contribution, of any size would be a huge help and it will all go towards essential expenses, like tuition, accommodation, textbooks, travel and living costs while abroad. Even sharing this page is incredibly helpful.
