Night Shift is a feature film solely produced, directed, and distributed by students from Emerson College with tentative filming dates laying in March-April of 2026. The entire production is independent from any sort of student organizations, which means our starting grounds are $0 of outside funding. We are driven by our creativity and passion for filmmaking.

Based on a story Director Rylan Fischer has had on-mind for many years, Night Shift follows a recovering alcoholic as he goes on an odyssey through the underworld of the night after an enigmatic radio host begins speaking to him directly over the air.

Because of the length required to tell this story, the film will be a more grand shooting process than a traditional student film. Any money donated would go towards things such as locations, special effects, hair and makeup products, hard drives , and snacks for the cast and crew. In addition, we will need your support for fees regarding submission to film festivals and theaters for screenings.

Any and all donations possible are appreciated, as is sharing this link to anyone who may be interested in donating if you are unable to do so yourself. We are more than excited to share this film with everyone!
