I would just like to update everyone! After having emergency surgery on October 3rd to remove an abscessed ovary and inflamed appendix that was pushed aside and untreated by medical professionals for several months and after spending 9 days at the hospital to help rid the infection that was slowly poisoning me I am now home and recovering.

Due to the severity of the operation my motor function and strength have been compromised but I am working with home care aids to assist me in my recovery. I would like to thank everyone who has sent positive messages prayers shares funds cards gifts and support of any kind.

As many of you know, Nicki Armstrong has run her home daycare for the past 8 years, providing loving care to children in our community. Recently, after almost a year of doctor visits and unanswered questions, Nicki was faced with an emergency health crisis. Last week, she had to undergo emergency surgery due to a severe infection that could have taken her life. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, but Nicki has a long road to recovery ahead of her. She will be in the hospital for some time and unable to return to her daycare business in the near future.

Nicki’s daycare has been the primary source of income for her family, and like many small business owners, she doesn’t have access to the same benefits as others. Her husband, Rick, has taken time off work to care for both Nicki and their young son during this challenging time, adding to the financial strain.

We are asking for help from friends, family, and the community to relieve some of the financial burden on Nicki’s family. Your support will allow them to focus on her recovery without the stress of worrying about medical bills and lost income. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and be deeply appreciated.

Once Nicki is healthy and able to reopen her daycare, any unused funds from this campaign will be donated to a local charity that supports families in need.
