Help Support Nick and His Children After Tragic Loss

Life can change in an instant. Just two weeks ago, my cousin, Nick Lavery, lost his beloved partner, Sherri, to a battle with mental health. Now, he’s left heartbroken, a single dad navigating unimaginable grief while caring for their two beautiful children — sweet 5-year-old Heidi and brave 13-year-old, Ainsley.

Nick is one of the kindest, most selfless people you’ll ever meet. Quiet and humble, yet strong and dependable — the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He worked hard out West to support his family, but with this sudden tragedy, he can no longer continue that path. His priority now is his children, and helping them through this loss with as much love and stability as he can offer.

Sherri was an incredible mother and partner. Her love for her family was undeniable, and her loss has left a void that can never be filled. There’s no way to take away Nick’s pain or bring back the amazing woman she was, but we can come together to help ease some of the burden Nick now carries alone.
