My name is Amy Horikami (Nathan's Sister). I'm reaching out to help my brother and his family with medical bills. Right before Christmas my brother Nathan got really sick with pneumonia and we believe he had a severe reaction to either being sick or something with the medication that left him incognitive. They did an MRI, and every test in the book from Diabetes, Sepsis, to a stroke, but all results came back normal, but he's still not there. He sleeps almost all day and is only responsive for a few hours until he starts to slur his words and has a distant look in his eyes. He mostly responds by blinking, smiling, thumbs up (or down).

We believe his body and brain are healing, but we don't know when he'll be back to normal and able to work.

Along with this, they just moved to a new state so my sister-in-law can start her internship.

They are in need of any donation to help offset the cost of the medical bills and are appreciative of any help at this time.
