Nate was put into the ICU on November 10th and fought for his life over the following week due to advanced liver failure.

On November 13th, we were told to get ready to say goodbye. By the next day, he was stable and showing improvement. Over the weekend, sedation wore off and he woke up. On November 17th, he was fully awake but loopy and hallucinating. By November 19th, all the sedation had worked through his system and he was much more himself.

He has made amazing progress and continues to get better and better every day.
