On a night that changed everything, our sweet niece Nasiah was involved in a terrible car accident caused by a drunk driver. She was in the back seat and, like so many teens, wasn’t wearing her seatbelt. When the car crashed, she was violently ejected through the sunroof and found nearly 30 feet away from the wreckage. The responding officer told us that it’s a miracle she’s alive.

Nasiah now faces a long and challenging recovery from a broken back and a major concussion. She’s always been the kind of person who lights up every room and makes everyone around her smile. One mistake—one moment of trust—has changed her life forever.
