Hello Everyone! My name is David, and I am Nancy's stepson. My dad is Eric, Nancy's husband. As most of you know, she has been battling cancer for just over a year and three months. Two months ago, she entered the hospital after getting covid, then double pneumonia, and finally thrush, which ultimately allowed her cancer to progress. Unfortunately, she has not been able to recover fully since then, and there is nothing more the hospital can do for her. So, on 6/4, she was brought home to be comfortable and to surround herself with love, family, and friends before the Lord calls her home.

Currently, Hospice care comes twice a week for an hour, and Nancy needs more care and attention than that, so an additional nurse is needed. Hospice and insurance do not cover the cost of an additional nurse to be with Nancy for several hours a day, which is why I'm reaching out to you all now. The cost of the nurse is $30 an hour and Nancy needs them for around 4 hours a day to make her comfortable.

We are asking for anything to help cover the cost of having a nurse with Nancy in her home during these difficult times. Any donations made will be used to pay for the nurse and any additional funds will be donated to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
