Help support Nancy's journey

As most of you have heard by now, Nancy has been diagnosed with breast cancer. After extensive testing at Dana-Farber and here at SVMC, she will be having surgery on July 18th. She has been assured that the outcome is considered a cure. She has needed to take time off for exams and testing, both here and in Boston, and will be taking two weeks off after her surgery. Her hope is further surgery will be unnecessary. There will be follow- up treatments but unlike the surgery, it won’t keep her from doing what she loves, treating her patients.

Knowing that Nancy is a self-employed single mom, many have asked what you can do to help. Good thoughts, positive energy and prayers are all welcome especially on the 18th.
