Help support Myah who has lost her Mother.

In May of this year Carrie lost her life. She left behind her beautiful daughter Myah. Myah is only 9 years old and now has to live the rest of her life without her mothers touch. Myah's father, Derek cared for Carrie during the later stages of renal failure and is now left as a single father. Carrie and Derek's life savings have been spent over the past few years due to the unfortunate circumstances the family have had to endure.

Derek has recently been informed that he and Myah are going to have to leave their home in Buderim by the 18th of December due to the owner selling the property. This is the house that Myah grew up in with her mum.

Myah is currently in year 4 at Buderim Mountain State School. She has a good friend base at the school. She also sees the school counsellor three times a week as well as the school chaplain. It is important that Myah stays within the Buderim community. If Dereck is unable to find accommodation he will have to move with Myah to the Northern Territory where his parents live. This would be extremely disruptive for a little girl that has already been through enough.
