Help support my family with Grandfather's passing

Hi my name is Mike, I'm Sabino Alvarenga’s Grandson, I'm here because our beloved family member has passed at the age of 85. Two years ago he lost his youngest son and 3 years ago he lost my father. And now he travels to the afterlife to re-unite with his sons. My Grandfather was a happy man that liked to garden and found joy in giving away his vegetables to the other members in his church and retirement home. Not sure how he did it but he can never stay still and always found something to do. One thing that I will miss very much about my grandfather is his giggles. Every time I told him a joke is if I was hanging out with him in his childhood years. He will forever be missed.

My grandfather resides in Washington D.C. and his whish was to be buried along his longtime friend/brother-in-law/ pastor. When was pastor was sick my Grandfather would take the duties of singing at the church. The cemetery cost and burial cite is $11,535 for the full service. We did think about cremation, but my grandfather clearly told us that he wouldn't want his body to be burned. So, to respect his wish we would like to bury him next to his best friend.

The funeral home service and prep for viewing with basic casket is a total of $6528. Bringing the total cost to $18,063.00. For the service the plan is to have some kind of potluck and food donation from family. We have about a 2-3 week total as of today come up with the full amount to make sure there is no interruptions in my grandfathers service. This wouldn't just help out our family financially but with would allow us to honor my grandfathers last wishes of having a respectful ceremony to honor my Grandfathers 85 years of life. Any amount will help greatly and would be so appreciated. We hope to be able to put m Grandfather at rest and honor his last wishes. May his travel to the afterlife and re-union with sons be guided by God, Jesus, the Holy spirit, and our prayers.
