Hello, my name is Yesenia, and I’m creating this fundraiser to support my wife during one of the hardest times in our lives. Just a little over a year ago, we got married and began building our life together. We never imagined we’d be facing something so serious, so soon.
Recently, doctors discovered my wife has a tumor that is wrapped around several arteries, including a main vein, making surgery extremely risky. We are still waiting to find out if the tumor is cancerous, but regardless of the results, the operation is urgent and complex.
This diagnosis has been emotionally and financially devastating. We’re having to travel back and forth to Pittsburgh for appointments and surgery, which means missing work and losing vital income. To make matters worse, we’re also being forced to move apartments in the middle of all of this, adding even more stress during an already overwhelming time.
On top of the medical and financial challenges, our youngest son just turned 18 and still lives with us, so we are doing our best to give him stability while facing the uncertainty of needing to find a new place to live and all other obstacles that we are currently facing. Our older son also needs help moving back to college soon, and we are determined to support him in continuing his education despite everything happening at home. We’ve had to more or less put complete focus and effort into this process leaving us with little resources to help in our children’s lives.
