Hi everyone,

My name is Mikeighla Cabrejas, I’m 16 years old and I live in London, England. Volleyball has become a huge part of my life, and I’m incredibly excited to share an opportunity that means so much to me.

This July 15–19, I’ve been given the chance to compete in the Gameville Tournament in Mandaluyong, Philippines, where I’ll be playing for Fil Euro Nation.

To take part, I need to raise money, which will cover my player registration, training costs, and tournament kit, as well as accommodation and transport to and from venues.

This opportunity means the world to me. Competing in a new environment and in a country that has such a strong love for volleyball is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s also a chance to showcase my skills and potentially be seen by scouts, helping me move closer to my dream of playing volleyball at a high level internationally.

Right now, I play for Richmond Volleyball Club on both the U18 A and U16 A teams, currently preparing for the Last 6s and hopefully finals, and I also compete in National Volleyball League Division 2 (NVL2). Last season was an incredible one for me, having achieved Gold Champion titles in the U15 National Cup, All-Nations Juniors, and the London Youth Games, with a Bronze Medal in the U16s.

I work hard every day to improve and grow as an athlete, and this tournament would be an amazing step forward in my volleyball journey.
