Help Support My Summer at Opera Lucca

Hi friends, family, and supporters of the arts!

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been cast as Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro at Opera Lucca this summer! Opera Lucca is a prestigious program in Lucca, Italy, that brings together young artists from around the world to perform together and to study with world-class faculty. Over the course of several weeks, I will be learning fluency in Italian, musical coachings, and dramatic training, all while preparing a fully staged production of my favorite opera!

This is an incredible opportunity for me to do real-time training as a working opera singer, but it comes with a financial challenge. I’ll be dedicating the entire month of June to this program and will not be working during that time so I can fully focus on the production and my training. That’s why I’m raising funds: to help cover my expenses back home while I’m abroad in Italy.

To support this effort, I’ll be performing a fundraiser recital on Saturday, May 4th at 2:00pm at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. For those who can’t attend in person, there will also be a livestream available. I’d love for you to tune in and share this special moment with me!

Finally, the most important bit: Thank you. I am fortunate to have always had a fierce army of supporters behind me. Ever since Little Cora declared her intention of being a professional singer, I have been surrounded by people who pushed me, believed in me, and encouraged me. If all you can give today is that same support, believe me: it is more than enough. I would not even be here asking this today without that unwavering support and belief.
