My name is Brenda, and I am asking for help for my son after a traumatic and life-changing accident.

While crossing the crosswalk directly in front of his high school in Caldwell, Idaho, my son was hit by a vehicle. What should have been a normal school day turned into every parent’s worst nightmare.

My son is currently in the ICU and undergoing surgery for a shattered pelvis. Doctors have shared that he may require additional surgeries as part of his recovery. Right now, our focus is on getting him through this critical stage and supporting his healing, both physically and emotionally.

As a parent, watching your child fight through something like this is heartbreaking. Along with the overwhelming emotional toll, we are facing mounting medical expenses, ongoing care needs, time missed from work, and potential legal costs to ensure my son receives the care and support he deserves.
