We normally don’t like asking for help, but we have an important reason for reaching out. Next week, my husband Rich will be undergoing a double surgery that will require him to be out of work for 6–8 weeks while he recovers. As you can imagine, being out of work that long will create a serious financial strain for us.

Between medical bills, follow-up care, and everyday expenses like mortgage, utilities, and groceries, we will be facing a gap that we simply can’t cover on our own. Rich works hard for us to stay on top of everything, but with no income coming in during his recovery, we could really use some support from friends, family, and kind strangers who are willing to lend a hand.
