Hello all, and I hope this message finds you well! I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Sandra. She is such a loving, and hard working mom of five kids that is going through extremely hard times with her youngest child's health. My youngest nephew, Miguel, was born with a rare genetic disorder called Crouzon Syndrome. It’s so rare that this is the first time in 26 years a patient was born with it at the Santa Clara County Kaiser. He has spent his entire 5 months of life in the hospital, and has already received two brain shunt surgeries because the first shunt became infected. October 23rd, 2024 he underwent another intense brain operation, and is expected to be in the hospital until he is at least a year old. As you can expect the hospital bills are beyond high, and are expected to keep getting higher since he is dependent on hospital care. My sister works so hard to provide a stable and happy life to her 4 other children, one of them being autistic and needing extra care. My sister drives for a max of two hours one way, Four times a week to the hospital to be with her youngest son Miguel, and support him the best she can while he is fighting this major health battle. We are asking for any donations to go towards the balance of his hospital bills. I know first hand that times are so tough right now for everyone, but any amount helps and absolutely adds up!!
