Help support my national team training!

Hi! I’m Nuka and this year I qualified to play for England Roller Derby as part of their reserves. It’s been 12 years since I set out to one day play for my national team, and I couldn’t be happier to finally be part of the team!

Roller Derby is a self funded sport, and as part of the training I will be travelling once or twice a month with the team both nationally and internationally, as well as heading to Austria in July to support the team in the World Cup. It is such an honour to have the opportunity to train with such amazing athletes and in different places around the world, but along with these great opportunities comes a financial commitment! I’m looking for a little bit of support to help fund my dream of playing international-level roller derby and travel with my team on their journey to the World Cup! The money would go towards travel (including flights), accommodation as well as uniform and kit costs. As it is a self funded sport, players cover most expenses themselves, with some players occasionally receiving sponsorships. I’ll be covering any expenses myself and travelling to train with the team all over the UK and in Sweden.
