Hello friends and family! As some may know, I am working towards a career in professional orchestral conducting. This career has many different paths to venture down in order to achieve that, and no two conductors' paths look the same. A very critical part of becoming a conductor is participating in masterclasses, workshops, and music festivals to learn from some of the best conductors around. Currently, I have attended just a couple and hope to attend several more this upcoming summer. I have already been accepted to two so far, and am waiting to hear back from a couple more.

In addition to the conducting masterclasses, I will also be attending a music festival in Austria, where I will be playing trombone in a wind ensemble. I’m super excited to have been selected for these opportunities and am looking forward to the experiences, teachings, and connections that lie ahead this summer!
