I'm reaching out to ask for support for my mom, who started out not feeling so well and now has spent a great deal of time in the hospital and still doesn't have clear answers about what's going on with her health. What started as not feeling well has turned into something much more serious, and her recovery will take time. Even after she's released, she'll require in-home care and ongoing medical attention.

My mom is a nurse — someone who's spent her life caring for others. Now, she's the one who needs to be cared for. This has all been incredibly overwhelming, and on top of the emotional and physical toll, there's a huge financial strain.

She is the sole provider in a single-income household, and with her being out of work for an unknown amount of time,

I'm hoping to raise funds to help cover:

• Monthly living costs while she's unable to work
