Help support my legal battle in Peru

Hello, my name is Austin Dakota Brown(Cody). I am a U.S. citizen currently residing in Peru. I have been here studying and improving my Spanish for almost a year. Recently, a friend and I fell victim to an unprovoked, drunken assault where I had to defend myself and sadly it resulted in the assailant’s death. Since then, we have been subjected to countless detainments, lawyer visits, courts, and other various things. We have been pushed to our limit, only having time to eat one meal a day, and I am exhausted. Everything was captured on camera, however, we are still being drug through the mud. We are facing severe consequences for something that was not directly caused by us and is a clear-cut case of self-defense. Because of this, I have exhausted all of my savings. I am traumatized, frightened, and confused as to why I am even being subjected to a senseless and corrupt process. Now I need help to fight this battle, stay above ground financially, and to finally come home to the United States.
