Hello everyone - my name is Reyna and I recently turned 31. Last October I started experiencing pain in my right breast and then I discovered a lump. After completing a mammogram, ultrasound and undergoing a biopsy, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer known as Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3. Due to the size of my tumor, and how aggressive the cancer is.. my treatment plan will consist of chemotherapy for 6 months then discussing the best surgical option, either a lumpectomy or a mastectomy, and radiation after. I am trying to prepare myself financially as I know the medical bills will soon arise and I will no longer be able to work. I am also having insurance issues at the moment, so all of the testing and appointments that have recently taken place have been out of pocket. I have a tough journey ahead but by the grace of God and with the amazing support system I have, I know I will beat this disease! Any donations, no matter how big or small will be helpful to ease the financial burden.
