On Sunday morning, our lives changed in an instant. My father suffered a silent heart attack while on his way to work. In the middle of that medical emergency, he lost control of his truck, which flipped at around 60 mph. He was thrown from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Right now, he is still hospitalized and confused — he doesn’t know where he is or what happened. We’re taking things day by day as doctors work to stabilize him and evaluate the full extent of his injuries and recovery needs. It’s a long road ahead, and our family is doing everything we can to stay strong for him.

My father is the kind of person who shows up for everyone else without hesitation. He’s hardworking, loving, and the glue that holds our family together. Seeing him like this has been heartbreaking, and we’re trying to focus on giving him the care, support, and time he needs to heal.
