Hello, my name is Sophia Napoli, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family during one of the most difficult and uncertain times we have ever faced.

Life can change in an instant. Just two months ago, both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other. While both have previously overcome cancer, receiving these diagnoses so close together was devastating and overwhelming. We are incredibly grateful that my mother’s cancer was successfully treated with surgery. Thanks to her strength and determination, she has made a full recovery and is once again healthy.

Unfortunately, my father’s battle is far from over. He is currently fighting an aggressive form of cancer while also managing additional serious health complications. His treatment requires extensive care, and he is unable to work for the foreseeable future. Despite the challenges, we remain hopeful each day that he will overcome these obstacles and defeat this disease.

Since receiving this heartbreaking news, we have been profoundly touched by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and our community. My parents have always been a source of strength and generosity to those around them. Now, as my father faces the greatest fight of his life, we are leaning on that same spirit of kindness and solidarity.

Unfortunately, uninsured medical expenses and out-of-pocket costs related to my father’s care are quickly adding up. It has become clear that we can’t do this alone so I’m reaching out to our friends, family and community for help. Every contribution will go directly toward covering essential medical expenses and easing the financial burdens that are created when someone is battling cancer.
