Help Support My Dad’s Liver Transplant Journey

I am reaching out to you during a challenging time in my family’s life. My dad has been diagnosed with liver disease for over a year now and after extensive medical evaluations, the doctors have determined that he needs a liver transplant to survive. This news has been incredibly difficult for us to process, but we are committed to doing everything we can to support him in this fight.As you may know, the journey to a liver transplant involves not only medical procedures but also significant financial burdens. The costs associated with the surgery, hospital stays, medications, and follow-up care can quickly add up, and unfortunately, our family is not in a position to cover these expenses alone.We are turning to you—our friends, family, and community—for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate some of the financial stress and allow us to focus on what truly matters: my dad's health and recovery. Your donations will go toward:

- Surgery Costs - The transplant surgery itself is expensive, and skilled medical care is crucial for the best outcomes. My dad has insurance but some of them don’t cover the cost.

- Post-Transplant Care - My dad will require ongoing medical care, including regular check-ups and medications to prevent organ rejection.

- Transportation and Lodging - My parents will need to find temporary housing during this critical time as they flew from Kauai to do the transplant in the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.

My dad has always been a source of strength and inspiration for our family. He is a loving father, grandparent, and friend who has touched the lives of so many.
