My name is Jessica Debnam. At the beginning of this month, October 2025, my dad, Tommy, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine stage IV cancer in his pancreas and liver.
Despite numerous attempts to get diagnosed, his doctor did not diagnose him until almost two years after symptoms started, despite my dad expressing his worries that it might be cancer.
Currently, he is preparing to undergo the first 6 months of chemo, which start at the end of this month. His treatments are to prevent the tumors in his liver from spreading, as they are the most aggressive. There are too many in his liver for operation, and the one in his pancreas is too big for surgery, so he is left with chemo treatments indefinately to try and shrink or delay the growth of the current tumors.
My mom, Michelle, is the sole person able to take care of him during this time, and medical bills are already starting to grow. I live 4 hours away, and because of my job I cannot get home as much as I would like to to help my mom, but I want to do everything I can to try and take the weight of money off their shoulders while we focus on getting him the care he needs, and spending as much time as possible with him during this difficult journey.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for your consideration to donate to my family.
