Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet daddy. Over the past week, our world has been turned upside down. He has undergone two major invasive surgeries and has been in the hospital for 7 days now. His strength amazes me every day, but he still has a long and challenging road ahead. Before the surgeries, he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer—a diagnosis that has changed all of our lives in an instant. We’re now navigating the realities of fighting this disease, and doing everything we can to support him every step of the way. After the surgeries, he’ll be starting chemotherapy, and he’ll need ongoing care at home as he continues to recover. While we’re doing everything we can, the costs of hospital bills, treatment, and at-home care are overwhelming.
