My dad has always been a strong, prideful man who rarely asks for help, but right now he needs it more than ever. He has been battling leukemia for the past 7 years with courage and resilience, and now he faces another life-threatening challenge: severe heart disease that requires open heart surgery. The weight of these medical and living expenses is overwhelming, especially as he will be out of work during his recovery.
