Help Support My Dad Through Recovery
Hey everyone—this isn’t something I ever thought I’d be posting, but here we are.
My dad recently had open heart surgery and will be out of work for at least the next three months while he recovers. He’s 74 years old and still works as a carpenter to make ends meet. On top of that, he’s also my mom’s full-time caretaker—she’s living with Alzheimer’s, and he’s been holding it down for both of them with zero complaints.
But right now, he can’t do it alone.
He can’t work, and they still need to cover rent and basic living expenses while he heals.
I know times are tough for everyone. Truth is, I’m just doing my best like everyone else. This isn’t easy to ask, but I’m reaching out to my community—the people who know my dad, know my family, and know what we stand for.
If you can help in any way, we’d be beyond grateful. Whether it’s a few bucks, sharing this with others, or just sending some good energy—everything helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
