On behalf of my family, I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help my dad after the heartbreaking loss of my mom, Karen Jacobs. She was so much more than just a mother — she was our rock, our safe place, and the light in our lives. Losing her so suddenly has left us all shattered, and my dad is now facing the unthinkable: life without the woman he loved for decades.

If you knew Karen, you knew her warmth, her kindness, and how deeply she loved her family and friends. She was the kind of person who always put others before herself, and her strength and selflessness inspired everyone around her. Her passing has left an enormous void in all our lives.

My dad is a proud man. He’s never asked for anything, and he’s always done everything he could to take care of our family. But the truth is, he’s hurting — emotionally and financially — and he could really use some help right now. The expenses for the funeral and final arrangements are more than he can manage alone, and I want to do everything I can to ease that burden for him.
