My name is Devon. I am trying to raise money for my cat's surgery that's going to cost between $1000-1200. Her name is Joobs. She's had complications with bladder stones for the second time. The first composition was an ammonium stone back in 2023; now today, it is possibly an oxalate. She got checked in today, and it was $336, and the surgery Friday will be roughly $500-700 as an estimate. The first surgery was $1200.
Back in 2016, I got this little ball of joy who loves to play and watch birds outside all summer long, dreaming of chasing and eating them. She's a tough cookie but still and always my beautiful baby. She comes and sleeps on my head every night. She's been on prescription food urinary s/o for a year, and then we switched to kidney care roughly 3 years ago. Her first surgery, the stitches came open, and she had to go back that same week. She's been through a lot. Both of my cats have sadly gotten stones; this time around, it's just one, so that's the positive.
She hasn't been able to play and be her real self for roughly 6 months because of the pain in her bladder. I wasn't sure what was going on right away and put it off due to $ and worry of putting her down in the future if this surgery didn't work. I was just scared. Just looking for any extra help as today is hard, and Friday will be a lot harder on our little family. I appreciate everyone who donates. I appreciate anyone who purely supports and doesn't donate. Thank you very much for taking the time to read and respond.
