Hi everybody. My name is Dan. I'm a radio host, non-profit coordinator, and impassioned movie goer. My personal motto is While Not Every Movie is a Masterpiece, Any Film Can Be a Favourite. I am looking for some assistance in getting my passions combined, and my dream career off the ground in 2 steps... 1) Write and publish a book of film recommendations. 2) Produce and host a complimentary podcast to air alongside the books release. 3) Expand my interest into the non-profit community to help those organizations I work with to make a difference.

To begin with, I'm looking to release a book. The book is meant to suggest movies you may have or haven't heard of, and express why it's worth your time to watch them. Weekend Watching: 260 Movies To Watch When You Can, is meant for everyone who wants to see a mix of fun and moving films from every genre and decade, but not be overwhelmed in the process. Watch one movie every weekend, and you'll get through the book in five years. Just in time for a sequel. Alongside the book, I also plan to release a podcast - Double Feature - to discuss the films mentioned, as well as a pairing for those of you with a little more time available.

The money I'm hoping to collect is to cover costs in getting the book edited, published and distributed, and getting the podcast off the ground. The end goal is to encourage the exploration of film, while growing my reach in the community, and starting even bigger projects.
