On Sunday, November 9, 2025, Dean (Dj) experienced a sudden and life-threatening heart attack. Thanks to the quick actions of his friend, who immediately performed CPR, first responders were able to step in. DJ was shocked 29 times before they were finally able to stabilize him. We are incredibly grateful he’s still here with us.

At this moment, doctors are still working to understand what caused his heart to fail. What we do know is that DJ’s recovery will be a long, delicate journey that requires constant monitoring, specialized care, and unwavering support.
