Help support Murph fight cancer!

We are reaching out to our community to rally behind and help support Murph as she undergoes the fight of her life against ovarian cancer.

Helen “Murph” Murphy has always been the biggest supporter of her friends, family and community. She has volunteered her way through countless committees in Balranald, advocated for and supported any individuals or groups in need. Murph has been the face of many Balranald events and fundraising efforts; if there is a worthy cause, you can always depend on Murph to be there to help in any way.

Now is our time to give back to our great friend Murph. Murph was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, and has commenced chemotherapy. Murph has a journey ahead of her with at least 6 months of treatment, including surgery and more chemotherapy. Murph will need extended time off work which creates some financial pressure that we hope you can all help relieve. One less stress for Murph means she can focus on the fight ahead.
