As some of you may know, my mother, Trudy Skilton, was recently a victim of a car accident caused by a drunk driver in West Seattle. She was fortunate enough not to have sustained substantial injuries, but this event has left her unable to return to work for an unknown amount of time, leaving her in a tough financial situation.

My mother has always lived in West Seattle and has played a large role in many local communities. Having dedicated thirty-plus years to working with children and the elderly, she has always made strong connections and lasting impacts within the community.

We’re asking for $6,000 to cover costs for her time off from work, transportation to and from follow-up appointments, and necessary treatment. Any contribution towards my mother’s recovery would help her get back on her feet during this time of need. Thank you.
