On October 28, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when my younger sister, Morgan, came home to find her husband, Tyler, had passed away unexpectedly. He was only 28, and appeared to be in good health. He was a Type 1 Diabetic and wrestled with fibromyalgia but took great care of himself. The coroner found no obvious cause of death, and we’re now waiting for the final reports to better understand what happened.
Tyler was a devoted husband, a loving son, brother. and friend, and a man whose faith in the Lord guided every part of his life. He loved God deeply and lived with a heart full of kindness, humility, and gratitude. Those who knew Tyler could see his faith in the way he treated others, with patience, generosity, and unwavering love.
He and Morgan were in the middle of one of the most exciting seasons of their lives, they were building their very first home together and were expected to move in on January 20th. What should have been a time of joy and new beginnings has instead turned into a heartbreaking and unexpected loss.
We’ve created this fundraiser to help relieve some of the financial stress that comes with planning Tyler’s service and managing the sudden expenses that follow such a tragedy. All donations will go directly toward funeral and memorial arrangements, as well as helping Morgan as she navigates the weeks ahead and begins rebuilding her life in the home they dreamed of together.
Through this heartbreak, we’re clinging to the same faith that Tyler lived by, trusting that God is near to the brokenhearted and that Tyler is now at peace in His presence.
Your kindness, whether through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping our family in your prayers, means more than words can express.
Thank you for your love and support during this devastating time.
With gratitude,
Kelcey & Family
