Help Support monthly needs of Orphanage in Uganda

Hi everyone, my name is Dominic and I am a student-nurse based in the United Kingdom that is using the means of GoFundMe to support an orphanage based in Uganda to sustain it's daily needs which is led by my brother-in-Christ Director Geofrey (the person in the cover page).

 

The orphanage led by brother Geofrey takes care of orphans with different circumstances behind them. He takes care of some less privileged children i.e. ones with disabilities and is in need of extra support; those with illnesses but cannot afford hospital bills (Geofrey is a nurse by the way); those coming from very poor families; and supporting children who are living with HIV positive.

 

With this in mind, as a registered nurse in his country, he offers these children in the orphanage free services for basic health check-ups. He also supports the children in their basic needs e.g. providing shelter, cooking for them, and being a teacher to them. Behind the scenes, brother Geofrey has a team of friends and family that helps him oversee and support the orphanage.

 

In terms of finances, brother Geofrey is highly reliant on his own income as a registered nurse and also on other people's donations towards the orphanage.

 

As a result, I have partnered up with brother Geofrey to set up a GoFundMe page that would help support the orphanage get through its daily struggles through, of course, each and everyone of you who are able and willing to help. Whether big or small.

 

We acknowledge that while someone cannot help everyone, everyone can certainly help someone. A motto that comes around my head every now and again

 

Unfortunately, brother Geofrey is unable to set up a GoFundMe in Uganda as it is not available there. Hence, why I partnered with him from the UK.

 

ALL the funds donated here will go straight to the orphanage in Uganda. This will help to sustain their daily needs including, food, water, shelter, security, electricity, cooking and hygiene resources.

PS: The Target Goal of £20,000 (previously £5,000) does not have to be reached at a certain date. It's just a random maximum limit I chose. The orphanage will continually be supported through your donations.
