Help support Momma B this Holiday Season

Hey team. I would like to tell you a little bit about my mom, Diane, who we all call Momma B. Although she is a mom to two amazing biological sons and three incredibly beautiful grandchildren, she truly is a friend to us ALL and has always been there to give us a helping hand, smile, laugh, place to stay or anything else we might need. Momma B is in the front row, often literally, always metaphorically, for all of us on and off stage. She is simply the first person to do anything for everyone else, strangers especially, and her gift of the gab, infectious love, strength, tenacity and personality radiates to everyone she meets.

As many of you know, Momma B has been living with, thriving and surviving with active cancer since 2016. For those of you who know our family history and story, you know she has been a warrior all of her life and she has been proving that over and over again every day of this fight, with no exception.

A few years ago for Christmas, with only ten dollars to my name, I took the bus to the closest Michael’s right after school and bought a pack of Tic Tac’s, a pack of Extra gum, and a few pieces of card stock. I very carefully made custom gift tags, wrapping, and a big card that said: “MINTY CHRISTMAS, MOM! I hope you have an EXTRA SPECIAL Holiday!! Love you more, Alex.” You know that Momma B is my everything!!

Recently, we received a phone call from her oncology team that rocked us both to the core. Now we have to rev it into high gear to help my mom continue to kick cancer's ass! With everything I have, and with the support of our incredible community, I am hoping to raise enough money to present to Momma B the Christmas and vacation she deserves, having fought this whole battle each day with a smile on her face, never missing an opportunity to smile, laugh and be in the audience to cheer us all on.

Although I know this can be a challenging time of year for many, especially during this on-going Covid battle, I am hoping to raise more than just money. If a financial donation to this cause is not a reality, then I am asking for all of the thoughts, good vibes, healing energy, smiles, hugs, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be sent our way. Momma B needs and deserves it! We are grateful of course for any financial donations, no matter how small, and most of all, for ALL THE LOVE!
