Help Support Mohammed Ali After Heroic Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
On Monday, 19th of May 2025, our beloved brother Mohammed Ali was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. On his way home from work, he was forced to emergency brake to avoid colliding and killing a schoolgirl who had suddenly ran across a dual carriageway when it was a green light. In an act of pure courage and selflessness, he managed to avoid harming her—but at great personal cost! Mohammed is now currently in hospital after suffering multiple breaks in his pelvis as well as a fractured thumb , contusions to the rib and a Hematoma. at the moment, he has no movement from the waist down due to the extent of his injuries. Alhamdulillah, he is not paralysed, but his recovery will likely involve surgery followed by a long and intensive period of physiotherapy. This fundraiser is being launched to support a husband, a father-to-be, and a man who put the safety of a child above his own well-being.
While we thank Allah that no lives were lost, Mohammed and his young family now face a heavy burden. With limited access to paid sick leave, they are struggling to cover essential living costs and to prepare for the arrival of their newborn baby in the coming weeks In sha Allah.
An Opportunity for Sadaqah: A Chance to Earn Ongoing Reward
As Muslims, we are reminded in the Qur’an:
“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.”
— [Sahih Muslim]
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains...”
— [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261]
Giving even a small amount for the sake of Allah (SWT) is not only a source of immense reward, but in this case, it is a lifeline for a family in need. All donations—100% of them—will go directly to Mohammed and his family to:
Pay rent, utilities, and essential bills
Help prepare for their newborn
Ease the mental and emotional stress during this critical time
Let’s Be the Ummah He Can Rely On
Mohammed acted with courage and compassion when it mattered most. Let’s come together now—as a community, as an Ummah—to support him and his family. Let’s be a source of ease for them in their time of hardship.
Please donate generously. Share this cause. Make du’a. And remember: Allah never decreases wealth through charity.
May Allah (SWT) reward you for your intention, your contribution, and your compassion.
