I'm setting up this fundraiser for my friend MJ, who unexpectedly lost his brother Marcus a few days ago.

Many of you know MJ as one of Frankfort's Finest, a true staple in our community. Whether he's on duty protecting and serving our residents, volunteering his time for community service, or playing pickleball at East Frankfort Park, Forks of Elkhorn Church, or Pickleball Kingdom in Lexington, MJ has always been there for others. Now we have a chance to be there for him.

Marcus, like many other young adults, didn't have life insurance, which means MJ is now facing the expenses that come with losing someone. If you've been through this, you know how quickly costs pile up. It's overwhelming, especially when you're grieving.

Update: In just 12 hours, this incredible community helped us reach our initial $1,000 goal! The response has been overwhelming in the best way. Since these expenses far exceed our original goal, we're continuing to raise funds to help MJ as much as possible during this difficult time.

Any amount you can contribute will make a difference, whether it's $10, $50, or whatever feels right for you. The funds will go directly to helping MJ pay for costs associated with losing someone.
