Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sharell , and I'm reaching out to share the story of my father, Mitchell, who is battling stage 4 lung cancer. Our journey has been incredibly challenging, and we are now in need of your support.
Mitchell is a loving husband, a devoted father, grandfather of five beautiful grandchildren, and a hardworking man from Acadia Parish Louisiana. Life threw us a curveball on February 1st when Mitchell was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to his hip, tailbone, and liver.
As you can imagine, receiving this devastating news shook our entire family to the core. Mitchell has been fighting with all his strength, undergoing rigorous treatments and facing each day with courage and determination. However, the toll it has taken on him physically, emotionally, and financially has been immense.
Due to the aggressive nature of his cancer and the debilitating side effects of treatment, Mitchell is unable to work. While we have tried to navigate the complex world of government assistance, we are not eligible for the support we desperately need.
This is why I'm turning to you, our community, for help. We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly challenging time. Your donations will go towards covering Mitchell's medical expenses, including costly treatments, medications, and supportive care, as well as helping to alleviate the financial burden we face as a family.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in Mitchell's fight against cancer and in our family's journey towards healing and hope. Your kindness and generosity will not only provide much-needed financial assistance but also serve as a source of strength and encouragement for us during this difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting us in any way you can. Together, we can help Mitchell continue his fight against cancer and show him that he is not alone in this battle.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sharell Steele
