If you know Mike Trussell of Ventura, California, you know that when he walks into a room, the whole place lights up. Born in Memphis, Tennessee and a proud graduate of Venice High School, Mike has spent his life chasing adventure—whether it's skydiving, surfing the California coast or some exotic surf spot, exploring the open ocean by boat, reeling in the catch of the day, or diving beneath the waves as an avid scuba enthusiast. An outdoorsman through and through, Mike lives life with energy, laughter, and a big-hearted spirit that draws people in.

Mike established Mike's Consignment Marine Supply in Ventura, California. Since 2017, the company has provided essential marine supplies, catering to the needs of the international boating community.

Now, Mike is facing the biggest challenge of his life—a battle with cancer. He’s currently undergoing chemotherapy, and one of the drugs crucial to his treatment carries a staggering $1,400 co-pay per session.

On top of that, medical bills are mounting quickly, and the toll of treatment and hospital stays due to infections has left him unable to work.
