Our Dad, Mike Rowan, has spent the past month in and out of the hospital. Over the past week he took a turn for the worse began hallucinating, lost his memory and went unconscious for 48 hours.  Over the last several days he has regained consciousness, but not his memory. He has really bad days and better days as the doctors search effortlessly for the cause, so that hopefully he will be able to fully recover.

As many of you know, health issues and hospitalization is not new to our dad, but because of the nature of this sickness and the need for our mom to be by his side as a constant advocate for him, they are in need of help. 

Additionally (as crazy as this is), during the first week of our dad's hospitalization, our mom got a bug bite that turned into staph infection. She too was hospitalized for days, underwent a procedure and is now trying to recover all while caring and advocating for my dad.  Because our mom has not been able to work and is the sole provider, we are starting this Gofundme to help with the financial strain this has brought on them. 

We absolutely understand if you cannot give and would also really appreciate your prayers. Prayer for our dad's full recovery. Prayer for his memory to come back. Prayer for a strong and healthy kidney (he underwent a kidney transplant over 20 years ago and this is of constant concern that it would stay healthy!). And lastly, prayer that they would figure out the root cause. There are too many symptoms to list here!
