Hi, I’m Kylee Rast, and I’m fundraising for my dad, Mike Rast.

On August 25th, 2025, our beloved father, husband, and friend, Mike Rast, was diagnosed with Malignant Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Prostate Cancer. This news has been devastating for our family, but if you know Mike, you know he’s a fighter with an unbreakable spirit and a heart full of kindness.

Mike will begin radiation treatment (and possibly chemotherapy) on October 27th, marking the start of a long and challenging journey toward recovery. Unfortunately, because of the nature of his profession, Mike is unable to take paid medical leave, which means he will be facing this battle without the security of a steady income during his treatment.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden that comes with medical expenses, time off work, and the day-to-day costs of living while focusing on his health. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping Mike with:
